Well, here it goes-- After seeing the movie "Julie and Julia" on a plane returning from London, I decided to check out Julie's Powell's blog. Besides making me want to go and run out and purchase a pound of butter and Child's book, it also made me curious about the blogging world. I checked out Powell's site and it made me want to start one of my own.
I am a mom, a teacher and a coach, but sometimes the daily grind of those activities is overwhelming-- I think that it's great to find an outlet of some type-- not the venting kind, because negativity is NOT in my make-up (although I'm sure that my husband would disagree). This is a good place to express those thoughts and feelings that your family, friends, and colleagues might just not understand...
I'm sure that no one will be particularly interested in what I have to say, but it does give me a place to say it!
